STAND BAND UNIFORM GUIDELINES
The Stand Band Uniform will be worn instead of the Marching Uniform for
2007-2008 unless notified by Mr. Watson.
§ Climax-Scotts Gold Band T-Shirt—issued to each student at no cost.
o Issued at the warm up session prior to the game.
o Turned in after each performance.
o Worn in warm weather.

§ Climax-Scotts Dark Blue Sweatshirt
o The Climax-Scotts sweatshirt is to be worn in cold weather.
o The cost of the sweatshirt is $20.00 each. If you would like more than 1 you may order them at the additional cost of $25.00 each.
If a student has a financial hardship, please contact Mr. Watson, in confidence, at (269) 746-2325.
o Each student’s parent/guardian is required to maintain, care for and wash the sweatshirt.
o The sweatshirt is to be worn with pride, at performances only, and is considered a uniform. Please maintain its appearance as if it were dress clothing worn for very special occasions. Do not make any additions to the sweatshirt.
The sweatshirt is NOT to be worn as part of a student’s normal daily wardrobe.
o Write your name on the inside tag of the sweatshirt. This is not optional. You are responsible to replace your sweatshirt, at your cost, if it is lost.
The Band Director will advise, prior to the game, whether the Gold T-Shirt or the Sweatshirt is to be worn. Bring your sweatshirt to each game.
§ Blue Jeans
o Must be PLAIN DARK BLUE ONLY.
§ Must not have holes, slits, distasteful “bling”, decorations or sayings on them.
o Must not hang on the ground or be baggy.
o Must be worn at the waist.
o No shorts unless everyone wears them.
§ The Director will advise when and if shorts can be worn.
§ Tennis Shoes
o Clean, tied or fastened with Velcro.
o No flip-flops, open-toed shoes, Crocks or any other type of shoes will be worn. Tennis shoes only.
§ Climax-Scotts Band Rain Coat
o A raincoat will be issued to each student and will be stored in the designated area of the band room. Each student is responsible for their own rain coat. Lost, misplaced or abused coats will be replaced by the student and their parents/guardian at the current cost plus shipping.
o The raincoat will be worn in cold weather or when it rains. If the coat is wet after a performance it is to be taken home by the student, cleaned off, air-dried and returned the NEXT school day and hung properly in the storage area.
o The raincoat will be cleaned by each student/guardian and treated as a uniform piece.
